What couples say about Dennis
We were able to cover more ground and get the help we needed in a 4 day retreat.
We have tried several counselors and were able to cover more ground and get the help we needed in a 4 day retreat than we had in years of week to week counseling.
Now we are experiencing more peace in our relationship than we have felt for years.
Our marriage was headed for divorce, but with Marriage Rescue's help we turned it around and learned what triggers sent us spinning out of control. Now we are experiencing more peace in our relationship than we have felt for years.
The mutual hurts that we caused were exposed and we are in a place of healing now.
We were guilty of "letting things go" and not effectively communicating for years. Dennis created an environment where we could speak openly and honestly to address our fears, shortcomings and anger in a safe space. The mutual hurts that we caused were exposed and we are in a…

He gave us the tools to better communicate going forward so this will not happen again in our marriage. Our faith is important to us, and the ministry that Dennis leads reinforces and honors those beliefs, and also underscores the "love and respect" dynamic that all marriages will benefit from.

Dennis, we can't thank you enough for your time, wisdom, patience, and guidance. I seriously feel like the cement bricks I have been hauling around have started to crumble. I'm not naive to believe we've arrived by any means but I think we are changing our route to…

Dennis, we can't thank you enough for your time, wisdom, patience, and guidance. I seriously feel like the cement bricks I have been hauling around have started to crumble. I'm not naive to believe we've arrived by any means but I think we are changing our route to a new road for our marriage. We've already shared your info with a young couple who are in need of your gentle (not so easy to do) nudges. Your ability to not hold judgment (especially for my husband) was beyond our expectations... Probably why we have waited so long to deal with this. We both see a few rays of light coming through the wall. May God continue to bless your ministry, fill you with His grace, and lead those whom are in need of your guidance straight to your door!
Thanks to you, my wife and I are both closer to God and each other.

Dear Dennis, In my field of study, there is a concept called Voluntary Response Bias. It boils down to hearing mainly from people with something to say, and most of the time, those with something to say are angry. Satisfied and grateful people rarely speak up. I am writing to express my gratitude for all you have done for my wife, myself, and our marriage. I have been meeting with my priest for the last 6 months. My SAA meeting (twice a week)and psych meeting (once a week) continue. The Love & Respect book series you introduced us to has been a revelation to me. Thanks to you, my wife and I are both closer to God and each other. Thank you so much!
